About the BASBM
The Birmingham Association of School Business Management was formed in 1999, to represent the views of Bursars, Business Managers and other Support Staff in schools within the Birmingham area.
Currently boasting around 400 members (three quarters of all Birmingham schools) membership of the group is open to Bursars, Business Managers, Finance Officers and Senior Support Staff employed in school business management roles in educational establishments within the Birmingham area.
The BASBM holds a conference each school term, this provides our members with an opportunity to:
- Hear from leading speakers, and representatives from both local and national educational establishments.
- Assist their development in line with the ‘ISBL Professional Standards’ framework.
- Network with colleagues from across the region.
- Meet with specialist educational suppliers.
