Things are hotting up for our MD, Tim Docker, in the racing stakes. The first half of the season has been quite eventful, with Tim recently competing in the Dunlop Endurance Championship, one of the most prestigious and fiercely competitive motorsport series in the UK. With a multi-class structure, the race features GTs, sports cars and touring cars.

Having finished 6th in the points at the end of the first full season in 2018, Tim has already established himself as a serious title contender this season. Running in class 4, the most competitive category for touring cars and GT4 spec machinery, he had a strong start to the year at the opening weekend of the SliverStone International circuit. He finished fifth in race one, followed by his first podium of the season in race two.

Tim’s title push gained further momentum in round two, this time on the full grand prix circuit. Tim achieved second and third place finishes, meaning he’s finished on the podium in three out of four races.

After a gruelling race at Brands Hatch, in the rain, he arrived at Donnington Park leading the class 4 championship and was third in the overall standings. It was a supberb weekend for the team, with Tim achieving first and scond in class. He was eighth in the overall in both races, finishing ahead of some much more powerful cars, and scoring 55 points out of a possible 60!

Having extended his lead in the class 4 championshps, Tim moves up to second place in the overall standings, heading into the second half of the season.
