Winners of the 2014 GP Awards Communications Provider of the Year Award, MPS has once again been shortlisted for the Communications Provider of the Year category at the 2015 Awards.
In addition to growing the number of medical practices that MPS supports with Healthcare Communications, the entry this year has been strengthened by the deployment of enhanced Internet access circuits, often funded by the Government’s Connection Vouchers Scheme, able to support Cloud services such as SIP trunks and Hosted Telephony, providing improved resiliency and free calls to UK fixed and mobile destinations.
IP telephone systems from Mitel, Panasonic and NEC continue to feature in many of the GP surgery solutions installed, typically working with SIP trunks as opposed to conventional telephone lines (ISDN and analogue).
MPS has continued to invest in IT and data networking skills (hence the company’s rebranding to MPS Networks), which further differentiates the MPS from traditional communications providers, to drive increased cost reduction and resiliency in medical practices.
The awards dinner takes place on the 26th November 2015 at the Lancaster Hotel, London.
