MPS are delighted to once again be named as finalists at this year’s Comms National Awards organised by Comms Dealer magazine.
Shortlisted this year for the SME Unified Communications Solution of the year, our entry this year was a 140 extension solution for an Academy, built on a Mitel MiVoice Business platform, with Mitel’s MiCollab presence, instant messaging, audio, web and video collaboration, teleworker, unified messaging, PC call control and both Android and iOS softphone integration.
Installed in a short timescale, we significantly improved, call handling, simplified administration and added resilience to the Academy’s solution and also managed to reduce monthly costs.
Staff and teachers can now make and receive calls, collaborate and both access and manage voicemail messages from their Outlook inbox or smartphone, anywhere, at any time. The IT Team now administers moves, adds and changes centrally, with self labelling keys on all the Academy phones.
Communication at the school has been revolutionised, improving interaction and collaboration between staff and teachers and providing better access to teachers for parents.
The award ceremony this year takes place on the 22nd October at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
