MPS was incorporated in 1991 as a part of the Midland Phones Group.
The current management team acquired MPS from the Group by way of an MBI during January 1996. The Company focused on the sale of telephone systems and ancillary products and services including mobile telephones and fixed line network services.
In 2003, following a review of the business and its strategy in response to perceived market demands, a decision was taken to differentiate MPS from its traditional competition by broadening the Company’s portfolio of products and services. Relationships were created with suppliers of data and IP networking infrastructure at both Customer Premises Equipment and network infrastructure level and technical staff with data networking expertise, experience and qualifications were recruited.
Today MPS is clearly differentiated in its market. The Company now provides end-to-end, fixed and mobile, voice and data communications solutions working with private and public sector organisations to define, develop, integrate, manage and optimise networked solutions which deliver business process change and return on investment.
